He has an enviable track record of advising major financial institutions on their debt capital offerings as well as investment funds and corporate clients on private credit transactions.
Terence is a leading lawyer on regulatory capital within the Greater China region, having pioneered a number of landmark regulatory capital offerings capital instruments for banks, insurers and other financial institutions in China and Hong Kong. Terence is also at the forefront of the rapidly developing ESG bond market advising his financial institution clients on a number of market firsts, including advising the first ever sustainability-linked bond for a PRC issuer and globally systemically important bank.
Terence is also recognised as a trusted advisor to a number of Asian investment funds providing advice and expertise on complex investment structures covering the entire spectrum of private credit investments.
Terence is a centre member of the ICMA Asia Legal & Documentation Forum and ASIFMA’s China Capital Markets Committee and Legal and Regulatory Working Group.
