William is a capital markets partner with significant experience in a wide range of public debt, equity and equity-linked transactions as well as private and proprietary illiquid and PIPE investments in the Greater China region involving both PRC and overseas issuers.

William is the advisor to the PRC Ministry of Finance on its offshore RMB sovereign bond issue programme. He also acts on the offshore bond issues of the three policy banks, the big five state-owned banks and the many other financial institutions and corporates of China including advising on the debt issuance programmes of CDB and CEXIM and the EMTNs of ICBC, CCB, BOC, ABC and BOCOM.

William is a leading practitioner in China and the high yield market, and has acted for both issuer and underwriters on numerous high yield transactions. Please refer to the work highlights section of this submission for further details.
