Takashi Akahane is the Managing Partner of Anderson Mori Tomotsune since April 2023. Prior to taking up that role, he had been a head of the Finance Group. He regularly advises on Project Finance, PFI/PPP, and various financial transactions. He has represented national government, municipalities, private companies and financiers in numerous PFI/PPP and procurement projects including all prison projects initiated by the Ministry of Justice, the New Kansai International Airport project, currently the largest ever concession project in Japan. He also advises various Japanese ministries, municipalities, sponsors and financiers regarding energy (including renewables and hydrogens) and resources projects.
