His practice involves a diverse range of subject matter including buildings, road and rail projects, offshore structures, oil and gas installations, power stations and ships. Steven regularly appears in arbitration both in the UK and in other jurisdictions. He also frequently appears in the TCC and the Court of Appeal in England. Recent reported court cases include: PBS Energo v Bester Generacion [2019] BLR 350; Gosvenor v Aygun [2019] BLR 99; RG Carter v Kier Business Services [2018] BLR 441; Sutton Housing v Rydon Maintenance [2017] 1 All ER (D) 126; Balfour Beatty v Grove Developments [2017] BLR 1; and Goldswain v Beltec [2015] BLR 300. Steven is an accredited adjudicator and is also appointed as arbitrator in construction and engineering disputes.
