Practice Areas
Stephanie’s practice includes all aspects of the law relating to the construction and civil engineering industry in litigation, arbitration and adjudication. She also has acted as adjudicator, arbitrator and mediator of highly-complex disputes (relating to pipelines overseas, wind farms and locks on the Panama Canal). Her experience includes major road and tunnel construction, construction of railways, defects and locomotives, ship refurbishment, North Sea oil rig construction, refinery construction including seismic factors, biofuels plants, Ladbroke Grove Rail Inquiry, LUL Piccadilly and Jubilee line upgrades, offshore wind farms and fully computer automated gantry cranes in Hong Kong as well as experience in various other disputes related to computer software including IT systems in locomotives. Her practice also involves the causes and spread of fire, firefighter lifts and ventilation systems, and professional negligence in general, in particular of architects, engineers and surveyors. Stephanie is representing a group of bereaved and survivors at the Grenfell Tower Inquiry. She also has extensive experience in procurement and PFI, and experience of all major forms of contracts. She is fluent in French and competent in German.
