Stefan Kramer heads Homburger's Financial Services team. His practice focuses on capital markets and banking law. He regularly advises on asset based financings (covered bonds and securitizations), banking regulation (including regulatory capital transactions) and derivatives markets regulations. Other areas of work include insolvency law and financial markets infrastructures. He is also a member of the firm's TechGroup.

Graduated as Dr iur from the University of Zurich in 2005 and received a Masters Degree (LLM, International Finance Concentration) from Harvard Law School in 2010.
