Daniel Haeberli is a partner in Homburger's Banking & Finance as well as Capital Markets teams and he is the co-head of Homburger's TechGroup.
His main focus is advising on complex financing structures, restructurings and special situations. Daniel acts as advisor to lenders, borrowers and sponsors on high profile financing transactions. His practice includes syndicated debt financing, acquisition and leveraged financing as well as bond offerings. Daniel also advices financial institutions on structuring, documentation and distribution of retail investment products.

Qualified in 1996, registered in the Bar Register of the Canton of Zurich. Joined Homburger in 2001, Partner since 2009.

Member of the Appeals Board of the Swiss securities exchange BX Swiss and of the BX Digital, the Swiss digital asset exchange with decentralized settlement infrastructure.
Head of "Legal & Regulation" at the Swiss Structured Products Association SSPA.
Publications
Daniel Haeberli regularly publishes on banking and financial market matters, including on acquisition and leveraged finance, prospectus regime for structured products and the tokenization of securities and blockchain and cryptocurrency regulations. He is a co-author of the legal section "The Swiss FinTech Environment" of the annual IFZ FinTech Study published by the Lucerne University of Applied Science and Arts (2016-2024).
