Simon Paransky is a skilled litigator with a broad civil and commercial litigation practice focused on product liability, class actions, and commercial disputes. He acts for a broad range of clients spanning the insurance, automotive, and construction and infrastructure industries. Simon has appeared before all levels of Québec courts, including the court of Québec, Superior Court, and Court of Appeal. He has also advised on matters before the Supreme Court of Canada. In addition, he has represented clients before administrative tribunals, including the Tribunal Administratif du Travail (Québec Labour Board), the Administrative Tribunal of Québec, and the Québec Commission for Access to Information. Simon’s advocacy helped obtain full dismissals or favourable settlements for his clients in the fire protection, automotive, banking, and agriculture and heavy equipment sectors. Aside from dispute resolution, Simon has advised clients on regulatory matters involving the distribution of insurance products in Quebec, judicial review of administrative measures, and compliance with French language laws.
