Extensive expertise in the securitization of newly-originated qualified and non-qualified mortgage loans, investor loans, non-performing and re-performing seasoned mortgage loans and REO properties. Represents clients in domestic and offshore, pass-through and debt transactions, with various structures and credit enhancement features, that are backed by prime, Alt-A, subprime, closed-end second lien, HELOC, reverse mortgage and seasoned loans. Assists sellers, purchasers and servicers regarding the sale, financing, servicing and purchase of whole loan mortgages and mortgage servicing rights. Scott frequently assists issuer and underwriter clients navigate the regulatory environment and tax implications associated with the issuance of mortgage-backed securitizations.
