Scott leads Colin Biggers & Paisley's Restructuring & Insolvency team with over 30 years of experience advising on restructuring and insolvency issues from contentious and non-contentious perspectives.

Scott's clients include many of Australia's leading insolvency and restructuring firms, Australian and US-based banks and financial institutions, multinational manufacturing, construction and property development companies, and several Australian universities.

Scott regularly advises on and enforces securities on behalf of financial institutions and lending syndicates. He has a wealth of experience in commercial dispute resolution, having conducted substantial commercial litigation across all Australian jurisdictions. Scott's practice focuses on alternative dispute resolution, and as a trained mediator, he has acted for parties in numerous complex commercial mediations and expert determinations.

Scott is an active member of various professional associations, including the Law Council of Australia's Insolvency and Reconstruction Sub-Committee and the Turnaround Management Association. He is a Fellow of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association.
