He is skilled in identifying, implementing, and monitoring legal solutions to increase productivity, reduce costs, eliminate problems, and simplify tasks for various clients, including directors and officers, in-house counsel, and commercial managers.
Julian is listed in Chambers Asia-Pacific 2022 to 2026 for his expertise in construction. He co-authored a textbook on contract law (Contract Law, LexisNexis Butterworths, 2019, with D. Newlyn). Julian was admitted as a solicitor on 14 December 2001 and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia.
Julian holds a Bachelor of Science (Pure Mathematics) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney. He is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales, AMPLA - The Resources and Energy Law Association, the Society of Construction Law Australia, and the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators of Australia.
