Sandra holds a Law Degree from Universidad Libre de Colombia (1999). She also has a Postgraduate Degree in Public Utilities from Universidad Externado de Colombia (2000), a Postgraduate Degree in Labor law from Universidad Libre (2002), a Diploma in Management of Oil and Gas from Universidad Externado de Colombia (2002), another in Portfolio Management and Financial Risk in the Natural Gas Industry from Alberta School of Business, Edmonton, Canada (2002). She also has an LLM in Business Law from Universidad Francisco Victoria, Madrid, Spain (2004) and a Master's of Law in Economic Law from Universidad Externado de Colombia (2005). She holds a Diploma in Arbritration from the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce (2005) and another in Hydrocarbons International Management from Universidad de Los Andes and IESA (2009) and a Postgraduate Degree in Administrative Law from Universidad del Rosario (2019).​

-Local Advisors to Vitol in the renewal of the Offtake Agreement entered into with Geopark for the sale and delivery to Vitol of 100% of its crude oil production from the Llanos 34, Llanos 123, and CPO‑5 blocks, extending the existing agreement through December 31, 2028.

-Counsel to the selling group (including Desarrolladora Oleum S.A. de C.V. and MKMS Enerji Sucursal Colombia – a subsidiary of NG Energy International Corp.) in the sale of their participating interests in the SINÚ-9 Block under an Exploration and Production (E&P) Contract. This transaction, valued at over USD 200 million, involved one of the country’s most strategic natural gas assets.

-Counsel to Synermin S.A.S. in the structuring of a group-wide energy purchase scheme to optimize supply for multiple companies within its corporate structure.
