Ruth Hewitt

Ruth is a Senior Associate Solicitor with a wealth of experience in medical negligence claims, having specialised in this area throughout her career. She has dealt with a full range of medical negligence claims, including brain injuries, delayed diagnosis of cancer, and spinal injury claims.

She joined Moore Barlow in 2018, having previously worked at other leading firms in London and Hampshire.

She acts for clients from all walks of life who have been injured due to clinical negligence. It is her passion to help people obtain answers where mistakes have been made, but also to look at how their lives have been impacted and what can be done to assist them. She combines a technical approach to the medical and legal aspects of winning claims with a practical approach to assessing her clients’ needs. For example, where liability is admitted she will seek to obtain interim payments of compensation so that her clients’ immediate needs can be met.
