Romain advises creditors and debtors on the various stages of restructuring and insolvency proceedings, specifically financial institutions and large organisations on implementing changes to their debt, capital and corporate structures. I also advise clients who wants to purchase distressed companies or assets in the course of insolvency proceedings.

He has a strong experience in advising creditors on debt restructurings, especially with respect to troubled LBOs. He was in particular involved in the restructurings of Consolis, Camaieu and Vivarte. He began his career working in a global law firm right before the 2008 Lehman Brothers’s Crisis, which introduced him to challenging cases such as Terreal, HMY, Auto-distribution, Coeur Défense and Novasep. He has a deep understanding of French insolvency law and am well positioned to advise banks and financial institutions on Restructuring & Insolvency.

He is also vastly experienced in the Retail & Automotive sector, where he has advised many of the historical players impacted by the digital revolution.
