Career

Rokas Jankus is a Partner and a key figure in our firm’s M&A team. He advises emerging companies and investors, with 10+ years of experience in venture capital, M&A, private equity, joint ventures, and shareholder disputes.

Rokas is passionate about innovative and future-focused businesses. He is also widely respected by major Baltic players. He was lead counsel in the acquisition of Vilniaus Prekyba shares by Bertona Holdings, a landmark deal that resolved long-standing disputes and involved Lithuania’s largest-ever damages award against a private individual. He also played a key role in the merger of Linas Agro Group and Kauno Grūdai. He regularly advises private equity funds.

He is recognised by The Legal 500 and Chambers Europe . He is also among the most active M&A lawyers in Lithuania by deal count from 2005 to 2024 YTD, according to Mergermarket. He has worked on multiple transactions that were shortlisted for Deal of the Year in Lithuania by CEE Legal Matters (in 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024).

Rokas' track record includes:

• A leading role in the largest-ever Lithuanian technology company exit – the sale of MailerLite to the Polish public entity Vercom.

• Assistance in financing and buy-out rounds of the web-hosting company Hostinger, which were led by Tesonet and Brainweb.

• Acquisition of the remaining shares of Vilniaus Prekyba (the largest enterprise in Lithuania).

• A leading role in the merger of the Linas Agro Group and Kauno Grūdai – the two largest Lithuanian agricultural groups.
