Robert Heath KC has a highly respected practice which encompasses commercial, equity, negligence, arbitration, and infrastructure disputes. He has substantial trial experience, and his recent work includes an appearance in a lengthy trial of arbitral proceedings concerning the failure of a subsea electricity cable in Bass Strait, Australia. He has substantial experience in class action litigation. In recent years, in addition to his mediation practice, he has built a practice as an arbitrator, and is a member of arbitral panels in Australia and Asia, including HKIAC and the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACIC). Robert is a Member of the National Sports Tribunal (Australia) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Robert attracts briefs in cases which have national or international elements.

Robert has more than 24 years’ experience in legal practice. He is recognised for his oral advocacy, paperwork, his client skills, versatility and commerciality. He is an experienced advocate in all types of applications, trials and appeals.
