Richard Pike

Richard is a partner in Brodies' dispute and resolution and risk team, based in Edinburgh. With over 16 years' experience advising on complex and high value private wealth disputes, Richard has acted in litigation in the UK, Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey. He specialises in contentious trusts, inheritance and estate disputes, often acting as an independent trustee and advises on related professional negligence claims. Known for his firm but reasonable approach, Richard is adept at resolving disputes via negotiation (including mediation where appropriate), whilst taking a robust approach in the courts. He is a member of ACTAPS and the Contentious Trusts Association, and holds a Diploma in Contentious Trust and Probate from the University of Law.
