Hayley Robertson

Hayley is a partner in Brodies' personal law team, based in Edinburgh and working with clients across Scotland. With over 16 years' experience, she specialises in estate and succession planning, trusts and executries (including contentious matters) and partnerships. Hayley regularly advises high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, landed estate owners, and family businesses, often acting as a trusted adviser across generations. She has particular expertise in complex estates involving agricultural and business interests and has led on the creation of multiple Family Investment Companies for large family groups. A member of STEP, Hayley previously worked at the Scottish Law Commission on trusts and succession reform and is currently an external examiner at the University of Edinburgh's Diploma in Legal Practice. Her practice combines technical excellence with a deep understanding of clients' long-term wealth planning goals.
