Emily is a dual-qualified partner in Brodies' personal law team, based in Edinburgh, with in-depth experience gained over many years advising on private client matters across Scotland and England & Wales. Alongside her fellow English qualified partners, she leads the firm's English personal law team, providing expert cross-border advice to clients throughout the UK and internationally. Emily specialises in succession planning, complex trusts, and estate planning, with a particular focus on landowners, rural businesses, and clients with multi-layered ownership structures. She is highly experienced in advising on tax-efficient wills, powers of attorney and the establishment of Family Investment Companies. A qualified trust and estate practitioner and member of STEP, Emily is known for her strategic approach to long-term wealth and succession planning.
