Rafał Celej

Rafał specializes in Tech and FinTech venture capital and M&A transactions.

He advises domestic and international investors and venture capital funds as well as emerging growth start-ups on all types of transactions, including venture capital investments, M&A, exits, and all forms of acquisitions, as well as on wide range of corporate matters.

Rafał also advises on compliance and regulatory matters as well as on incorporating venture capital funds.

Rafał is regularly recommended in the Chambers FinTech Legal ranking, and is recognized as a Leader in the categories of Private Equity and Commercial, Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions by the Ranking of Law Firms – Rzeczpospolita.

Rafał frequently speaks and moderates discussions at industry events focused on transactions, venture capital, M&A, and innovation. He is also a mentor to early-stage tech startups and their founders.

Rafał is a founder and a managing partner of Kondracki Celej.

Prior to establishing the firm in 2016, Rafał worked in the Warsaw office of an international law firm.

Rafał is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Warsaw (2008) and the London School of Economics (2009, LLM).

In 2024, the team led by Rafał at Kondracki Celej received the “VC legal advisor of the year” award from the Polish Private Equity and Venture Capital Association.
