Raanan specializes in creditors’ arrangements, shareholders’ litigation as part of insolvency proceedings, complex commercial disputes and securities and corporate class actions.

Raanan has vast experience and expertise in all matters associated with insolvency and debt restructuring, including receivership proceedings, creditors’ arrangements and stay of proceedings. He is regularly appointed by courts to serve as special manager, liquidator, receiver or trustee.

Since the 2008 financial crisis, Raanan has handled hundreds of insolvency and restructuring cases, including some of the largest creditors’ arrangements and acquisitions of financially distressed companies in Israel, such as the creditors’ arrangements of Delek Real Estate, Kardan N.V., Elbit Imaging and Israel Petrochemical Enterprises, as well as the acquisition of the IDB Group and the Blue Square Group.
