Helit Simchoni is a partner at our firm and heads our Labour Law Department.
Helit represents local and international employers on the private and public sectors, including educational institutions, high-tech companies, communications companies, industrial companies and workers’ unionizations.
She provides accompaniment and advises on a wide range of issues relating to labour law, while placing special emphasis on labour relations and human resources within the organisation, as well as the organisation’s commercial considerations and aspects.
Helit represents our clients on litigation proceedings in all the courts, including complex litigation disputes, mediation and arbitration proceedings, as well as in proceedings before the Ministry of Labour. In addition, she is an expert in collective labour disputes, including in the preliminary collective bargaining of workers’ unionizations, and drafting collective agreements.
Helit advises local and international clients on international commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions and structural changes, including conducting due diligence, providing opinions concerning workers’ rights when changing employers and/or relocating from and to Israel, and advice regarding the employment of specialists and foreign workers, including relating to the applicable immigration and labour laws for these workers. She also advises international clients and law firms abroad in the application of Israeli labour law.
Helit is a member of the Israel Bar Association Labour Law Forum, and even serves as a mediator in labour disputes, inter alia, through the Bureau of Arbitration and Conflict Resolution.
Helit is a frequent speaker at conferences and panels in the field of labour law, lectures and participates, inter alia, in panels on behalf of the Bar Association, and before members of the Association of Corporate Counsels (ACC), both national and international. As a result, she was lauded by the Israel Bar Association for her significant contribution to promoting educational values and deepening study among lawyers and jurists.
Helit was also recognized by The LEGAL 500 international ranking guide as a Recommended Lawyer for her achievements in the field of Labour Law.
