Prakash ('PK') Paran has significant experience advising clients on domestic and cross-border transactions, most notably in the insurance industry, including life and health, P&C, intermediary and insurtech transactions. PK advises some of the largest global insurance groups and private equity sponsors. PK has notable experience handling a broad range of transactions with global or cross-border dimensions, having worked in both London and New York. PK is respected by clients not only for his legal prowess and negotiation skills, but also his commercial perspective and ability to successfully close deals on favorable terms for his clients. PK is viewed as a trusted advisor with a track record of building strong teams and developing client relationships. PK is a member of the Law360 Editorial Board for Insurance. He has chaired or participated in numerous insurance industry discussions and panels in addition to writing various articles on developments relevant to the insurance industry. Prior to joining Willkie Farr & Gallagher, PK was the co-chair of the global insurance group at his previous law firm. PK is registered with the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, as a foreign legal consultant admitted in England & Wales.
