Practice Areas

Katrina Robson leads Willkie’s Antitrust & Competition team in D.C. A “superstar” who clients describe as “a hidden gem” and “one of the best antitrust litigators in her generation” (Legal 500 2024), Ms. Robson is “sought-after” for her “strong written and oral advocacy” (Chambers 2024), “creative legal solutions” (Legal 500 2024), and trial experience. Clients praise her as “knowledgeable,” “excellent,” “bright,” “very well versed in antitrust law,” “pragmatic,” and “responsive.” (Chambers 2025). She is “an exceptional team leader with extensive expertise and a practical, solutions-oriented mindset” who “has a remarkable ability to anticipate antitrust issues well before they surface, ensuring seamless navigation of potential challenges.” (Legal 500 2025). She has been named to every edition of Global Competition Review’s international list of leading women in antitrust law since 2016.

Katrina has piloted some of the most recognized companies in the world through complex, high-profile matters against both government agencies and private parties. She defended AT&T and Time Warner’s $100 billion telecommunications-media merger against a challenge by the Department of Justice in the “antitrust trial of the century,” one of only three trial attorneys representing both clients. She also obtained a cutting-edge monopolization verdict on behalf of US Airways in its antitrust action against a two-sided technology platform; won dismissal for Marriott in MDL proceedings alleging resale price maintenance and price-fixing in the hotel industry; and obtained a favorable settlement for American Airlines in class action MDL alleging capacity-fixing in the airline industry. Most recently, Katrina helped Saks Fifth Avenue obtain clearance for its $2.65 billion acquisition of Neiman Marcus Group, and secured dismissal of price-fixing claims against one of the world’s largest banking and financial services organizations.
