Personal

Mr. Evan Zhang excels in advising on domestic and offshore private investment funds in respect of structure design, fundraising, operations and management, internal system design, project exit, dissolution and liquidation. He is one of the first batch of PRC lawyers practicing in this area and has accumulated more than ten years of practice experience. Mr. Zhang has represented many well-known Chinese and foreign clients in forming more than one thousand private investment funds of various types.

Mr. Zhang has nearly twenty years of experience in the area of VC/PE equity investment and has provided numerous well-known private investment funds, insurance institutions, listed companies and other types of investment entities with services such as designing appropriate transaction structures, conducting legal due diligence, drafting transaction documents, issuing legal opinions and engaging in commercial negotiations in respect of their domestic and offshore equity investments and M&A projects.

He has also provided professional legal advice to scores of well-known enterprises in the areas of domestic and offshore private equity financing, M&A, restructuring for IPO structure, ESOP design and daily operations, and has accumulated rich experience as a corporate lawyer.
