Career

Pedro joined GA_P in 2005 and became a partner in 2010.

Pedro developed his professional career in the private sector as Chairman of SIGMA ENVIRO SA, an environmental management integrated consultancy firm specialising in waste and IPPC issues. He was a partner of ALYA ABOGADOS, a law firm specialising in water, energy and climate change law. He held several civil service positions at the Spanish Ministry of the Environment (Head of the Regulations Department, Deputy Director-General of the Basic Regulations Department and Adviser at the Technical Secretariat-General) (1993-2002).

Personal

Currently studying a Doctorate programme in "Educational, legal, territorial and socio-economic instruments of the environment" at the Complutense University of Madrid: he has obtained a Diploma of Advanced Studies upon completion of the research stage and registered his doctoral thesis proposal on the legal regime of integrated packaging waste management systems; Degree in Community Law from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (1987; Degree in Law from the Autonomous University of Madrid (1980).
