Oles Trachuk is one of the key senior associates in the banking, finance and capital markets practices of Sayenko Kharenko, recognized for his integral role in a wide range of finance transactions. He advises leading international banks, development finance institutions, export credit agencies and corporate clients on their Ukrainian projects.

Oles is an essential team member on landmark capital markets transactions and his experience also extends to sovereign financing, where he was part of the team advising on a number of government-to-government financing to Ukraine. Furthermore, Oles works extensively with syndicates of major international investment banks (including Citigroup, ING, and others) on complex corporate debt issuances, such as the secured notes offering by Trans-Oil Group.

Oles is experienced in advising institutions like the EBRD, IFC, UKEF, EIFO and others on a variety of financing instruments and facilitates innovative structured finance products like risk-sharing facilities designed to support lending by major Ukrainian banks.

Oles’s experience is enhanced by a one-year secondment with the EBRD in London, which provided him with valuable direct insight into the operational and regulatory mechanics of international financial institutions.
