Career

Noiana is a partner in Freshfields’ international arbitration group, Global Co-Head of International Arbitration and Co-Head of the firm’s Latin America practice. Her practice focuses on investor-state and commercial arbitrations across a variety of sectors such as energy, mining, telecommunications, infrastructure, financial services, aviation and airport services, sovereign debt, agriculture, and food production and distribution. Over the past 20 years, she has successfully led some of the most ground-breaking arbitration matters, collectively worth billions, and in the process, has quickly become the go-to partner for complex disputes in the Americas.

She is recognized by Chambers (Global, USA, and Latin America) and Who’s Who Legal as one of the top practitioners in the field of international arbitration, as one of the leading lawyers in the United States by Lawdragon and one of Latin America's "Top 35 Female Lawyers" by Latinvex (2018-2023) for her achievements in international arbitration. She received the Law360 MVP Award for International Arbitration (2018), the National Women in Law Award for Thought-Leadership (2018), the Hispanic National Bar Foundation Latina Leadership Award (2019), the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) Rainmaker Award (2021) and the Women In Business Law (WIBL) Commercial Arbitration Lawyer of the Year Award in 2023.

Noiana is civil and common law trained. She received her law degree with honors from the Buenos Aires University, her master’s degree with honors from the Université Paris I Panthéon, and her master’s degree in International Legal Studies from New York University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in New York and in Argentina. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and French, and is conversant in German.
