Nicolás García

Nicolás is Director at the Capital Markets practice. He advises general fund administrators and private investment fund managers on corporate, regulatory, and compliance matters, as well as stockbrokers and securities agents in their daily operations and dealings with the Chilean Financial Market Commission (CMF) and the Financial Analysis Unit (UAF).

He was Director of the Capital Markets practice at HD Legal from 2014 to 2026. Previously, he worked as an attorney in the Legal Department of Redbanc S.A. (2013–2014), where he was responsible for contracts and regulatory compliance, and as an associate at Aninat Schwencke y Compañía (2011–2013), advising on corporate and commercial law, venture capital funds, mergers and acquisitions, and public and private bidding processes.

He holds a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, obtained in 2010. He also holds a Diploma in Corporate Governance from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (2024) and a Diploma in Finance for Non-Financial Professionals from Universidad de los Andes (2025). He is currently pursuing a Diploma in Corporate Law at Universidad de los Andes (2026)
