Michel is a counsel of Von Wobeser y Sierra with more than six years of experience in the Competition & Antitrust practice.
His work focuses on complex merger notifications and investigations of per se and relative monopolistic practices. He has broad experience in diverse industries, including chemical products, energy, oil and gas, consumer products, financial services and land transport of passengers. Michel worked for Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), where he handled midstream and downstream investigation procedures of the oil and gas industry. He also participated in investigations initiated by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to detect possible collusion in the highway infrastructure industry in Colombia. He has also represented several clients in cartel and relative monopolistic practices, merger notifications, leniency program applications and governmental investigations of barriers to entry, market regulation, essential facilities and dominance proceedings.
