Melanie Lim is a senior partner in Dentons Rodyk's Real Estate practice group. She is Co-Head of the Corporate Real Estate and Project Development practices.

She has almost 30 years of experience in corporate real estate work and she acts for developersinstitutional investors, funds, property stakeholders, developers and family offices in the following areas:, family offices, funds and property stakeholders in:

• the purchase and sale and purchase of entire buildings (retail malls, commercial and industrial buildings);

• the acquisition of land sites for development or redevelopment, whether through the government land sales programs or collective sales under the Land Titles (Strata) Act; and

• the sale of units in mixed developments, residential developments (landed, cluster landed and strata housing developments) and commercial developments.and purchase of strata units, both completed and under construction; and

• leases, especially for corporate tenants who set up offices or operating premises in Singapore.

Her work encompasses all sectors of the property market, be it mixed use, commercial, industrial (including land held under a Jurong Town Corporation lease), residential and hospitality.

She also represents property investors and corporations in their transactions in the secondary property market across all sectors, be it shophouses, strata offices, residences or JTC properties.

She also negotiates leases for corporate tenants who set up offices in Singapore.
