Specialist in land rights and related issues, with expertise covering land and building leases, commercial occupation agreements (from leases and licences of varying tenure to short-term rentals), easements, wayleaves, access rights, contractual licences and land planning. Advises on and negotiates public land tenders, public-private partnership requests for proposals, build-to-suit and lease arrangements, purchase and leaseback arrangements, commercial leases and special use and occupation rights. Heads the Commercial Leasing practice in our firm with a portfolio that includes office buildings, retail malls, medical centres, industrial and business park projects, and specialty leases involving cineplexes, family entertainment centres, department stores, sports centres, and hypermarts.
