His practice includes assisting with the preparation of availability searches and preparing, filing, prosecuting, and monitoring trademark and patent applications. He also handles trademark and patent litigation proceedings such as the filing and defense of oppositions and cancellation actions, administrative, civil, and criminal litigation, as well as trademarks issues related to unfair competition. Mauricio has advised several Colombian and international clients in cross-border intellectual property issues. He also leads the practice in dealings with the sanitary authorities as well as litigation resulting from procedures before said authorities.
