Career
Matthias’ practice focuses on corporate and securities matters, including public and private takeovers, obligations of listed companies and general corporate law. He has particular expertise in capital transactions, corporate litigation, securities dealing/insider trading matters and not-for-profit organisations.
He has been a partner at Eubelius since January 2007 and has served as managing partner of the firm since 15 March 2016. He has been a member of the Brussels Bar since 1997.
Matthias holds a law degree from KU Leuven (1997).
He is also associated with the Jan Ronse Institute for Company and Financial Law at KU Leuven and is a visiting lecturer at the KU Leuven Brussels Campus.
He regularly contributes to specialist publications and presents conferences in the field of company and financial law.
