Over the course of his career, he has represented nearly every constituency that appears in a bankruptcy case, including debtors, secured creditors, official and unofficial committees, trade creditors, taxing authorities, employees, officers and directors, landlords, critical vendors, leasing companies, and asset purchasers.

Mr. Weis's secured creditor representations span both traditional and non-traditional lenders, and includes litigation in state and federal courts. His state court experience includes trial and appellate matters in Pennsylvania and Delaware, including the Delaware Superior Court and the Court of Chancery, and his practice reaches nationally including through representation of defendants in bankruptcy adversary proceedings, creditors in state court receiverships, and leasing companies in bankruptcy matters across multiple jurisdictions.

He has been recognized in Chambers USA as a Leader in his field in the bankruptcy/restructuring category every year from 2006 through 2026, and mediates cases for the Delaware and Middle and Eastern District of Pennsylvania bankruptcy courts in both commercial and consumer matters.

- Serves as a mediator for the Delaware and Middle and Eastern District of Pennsylvania bankruptcy courts in both commercial and consumer cases, and as an arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
