Anne Marie Aaronson is a Partner at Dilworth Paxson LLP whose practice centers on business litigation, with a particular focus on bankruptcy and reorganization, out-of-court workouts, and contract and corporate governance disputes.

Anne's Chapter 11 practice spans manufacturing, healthcare, media, and non-profit clients. She regularly represents an international manufacturer of electromechanical devices in airline, photographic, and other Chapter 11 proceedings, and serves as ongoing bankruptcy counsel to a credit union in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 matters. She has guided a number of prominent non-profit organizations through Chapter 11 reorganization, including a prominent newspaper business, a renowned orchestra, and an HBCU. She has also shepherded the restructuring of for-profit behavioral health facilities, a construction company, and other businesses.

Anne's leadership in the bankruptcy bar includes service as Judge Pro Tempore for the Commerce Court in Philadelphia since 2018, the Philadelphia Bar Association's Business Law Section and Bankruptcy Committee, and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Conference. She was elected a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy in 2022. Anne has been recognized in Chambers USA - America's Leading Lawyers for Business as a leader in her field since 2011 and has been listed in the Lawdragon 500 Leading U.S. Bankruptcy & Restructuring Lawyers guide since 2020. Her pro bono commitment has been recognized with an award from the Support Center for Child Advocates and inclusion on the First Judicial District's Pro Bono Roll of Honor.

- Regularly represents an international manufacturer of electromechanical devices in airline, photographic, and other Chapter 11 cases.

- Regularly represents a credit union in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases.

- Represented former directors of a large telecommunications business in defending several complex lawsuits involving federal and state wage and hour laws, and other claims.

- Represented several large non-profit organizations reorganizing in Chapter 11, including a nationally renowned orchestra, a Historically Black College, a children's behavioral treatment center and school, and a mental health and addiction treatment center.

- Represented one of the nation's largest newspapers in its Chapter 11 reorganization.
