Mark has practised high level commercial litigation for over 30 years. During this period he has acted for and against large public bodies, for and against the UK Government and in numerous reported cases.

He has acted for A-list celebrities and world renown sports people as well as premiership football clubs. He has acted for large investment banks in disputes over £50M and led a team of lawyers when succeeding in one of the longest (8 weeks) construction based trials the Northern Circuit has ever held.

Mark advises on construction as well as commercial contract disputes and has a wealth of experience also in professional negligence and warranty claims.

Career

Mark worked in the public sector until 1990 and moved into a firm who principally acted for large international developers. Previously he was acting head of litigation at George Davis and joined JMW in 2013 as a partner when JMW merged with Goodman Harvey.

Mark is the head of litigation at JMW.

Personal

Mark has two grown up children and when he is not managing their transportation and finances he enjoys playing golf (handicap 3) and watching football and rugby.
