Marianne Albers has over 25 years of experience and leads the Life Sciences and the Public and Regulatory Law departments at Felsberg Advogados. She advises companies on strategic and tactical matters in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and regulatory sectors, and is recognised by clients and peers for her deep understanding of Brazil’s legal and regulatory landscape, as well as the challenges of operating in the local market. Marianne has extensive experience representing companies before Brazil’s main regulatory agencies. Her work includes advising on high-profile public contracts, concession agreements, and bidding processes, as well as representing clients in administrative and judicial proceedings.

In the Life Sciences sector, Marianne is widely recognized for her strategic assistance to both domestic and international companies in their interactions with the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (ANVISA), the Brazilian Private Health Agency (ANS), and other regulatory authorities. Her key areas of expertise include supporting commercial transactions and drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide range of contracts, including manufacturing, licensing, supply, and distribution agreements, particularly for pharmaceutical companies. She also assists clients with product registration and authorizations, public procurement processes, and compliance and corporate ethics policies.

Before joining Felsberg Advogados as a partner, Marianne was a partner at KLA Advogados and previously worked as a senior associate at Trench, Rossi e Watanabe Advogados.

A company specializing in integrated therapy solutions for advanced wound treatment, non-invasive compression therapy and orthopedics, inthe divestment of a manufacturer of textile hospital consumables; and

A leading health plan provider in claims by the Federal Government and ANS to reimburse the Unified Health System (SUS).
