André Zanatta

Technology, Data Privacy, Artificial Intelligence and Law Enforcement

Before joining Felsberg Advogados in 2025, André worked at another law firm as Head of Data Privacy and AI for five years, handling consulting, litigation, law enforcement, and regulatory matters. During this time, he also specialised in Tech, Constitutional, Banking, Fintech, and Consumer Protection issues. Previously, André served as a Senior Counsel at the Google Legal Department in São Paulo and London for over 8 years. There, he managed a large portfolio of litigation, regulatory, and law enforcement cases, including class actions and investigations by public prosecutors and consumer protection agencies. His responsibilities encompassed content moderation, platform liability, privacy and data protection, intellectual property, online advertising, child safety, freedom of expression, account suspensions, consumer protection, and digital electoral laws. André began his career at TozziniFreire Advogados, where he progressed from intern to senior associate over eight years. He also gained international experience at White & Case LLP in New York City as an international associate.
