Marcos Patrón Costas is a partner of Allende & Brea in the Natural Resources and Energy practice group.
He regularly advises local and international clients, in a broad range of corporate matters, dedicating most of his time to mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and project finance, with a special focus on energy and infrastructure matters, including renewable energy, nuclear and conventional generation projects and transmission lines.
Marcos worked as an International Attorney at the New York office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, advising local and foreign companies on corporate matters and sovereign governments in debt securities offerings.
Marcos obtained his law degree from the Law School of “Universidad Austral”, and obtained a masters degree from University of Virginia School of Law, with a focus on business law. He also attended the Post-graduate Specialization on Legal and Economic Structure of Energy Regulation of the School of Law of the University of Buenos Aires.
