Cristián Fox is a specialist in commercial and corporate law, Cristián has worked on a number of complex matters, advising local and international firms on the restructuring of debts, the sale and purchase of bankrupt companies and similar cases. He has also been involved in solving corporate conflicts including cases taken to independent arbitration.
Cristián joined Allende & Brea in 2003 and named partner of the firm in December 2005. Prior to joining Allende & Brea he worked in the National Civil Law Courts (1989-1993) and in different law firms in Buenos Aires, specializing in commercial matters, up to the time he rejoined the National Courts as Secretary in charge of Secretariat #8, in the National Court of First Instance (Commercial) #4 (1998-2003).
Mr. Fox graduated in 1993 from Universidad de Buenos Aires and in 1998 obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Law from the Economics and Business Administration School in Buenos Aires. He also has taught graduate and post-graduate courses on business law during the last 25 years. He is Professor in Universidad de San Andrés, Economics and Business Administration School in Buenos Aires, acts as Guest Lecturer in University of Buenos Aires and Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
