Marco de Lignie

Marco de Lignie, adviser, focuses on tax aspects of fund formation and management participation.

Marco represents many Dutch, Luxembourg and UK AIFMs and other asset managers in the structuring of their funds and carried interest arrangements. Moreover, he provides tax expertise on a variety of investment management transactions including spin-outs, co-investments and continuation funds. Marco also frequently represents management teams at portfolio level for the structuring of their incentive plans.

Marco is lecturing annually at the Erasmus University Rotterdam - EFS Post-Master, topic 'Private Equity and Management Participation', and is a frequent speaker on this topic, for instance on behalf of the Dutch Venture Capital Association (NVP) in its courses organized for asset managers.
