Partner at Toda & Nel-lo, head of the Restructuring and Insolvency Department of the firm, as well as the Litigation Department at the Madrid office.
She has over 20 years’ experience practising as a lawyer in the areas of litigation and insolvency and advising clients in all types of civil and commercial proceedings. Manuela has participated in some of the most important cases in the fields of bankruptcy, litigation and corporate restructuring, both nationally and internationally, including company sales and purchases, distress, productive units and intra- and extra-corporate litigation.
President of the Spanish Association of Insolvency Administrators and Experts in Restructuring and Insolvency (ASPAC) and member of the board of directors of the Advisory Committee of the Insolvency Section of the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM), of the Spanish and Latin American Club of Arbitration (CEIA), and of INSOL Europe and the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC), both international restructuring associations.
Extensive experience as a lecturer in the Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Law and Business Administration and Management at the Comillas Pontifical University (ICADE) and the Carlos III University.
