Magdalena heads the firm’s Global Mobility practice and co-heads the Employment practice. She has experience conducting numerous matters and proceedings involving citizens of third countries in Poland, including those holding special status and rights under international treaties. For many years she has advised clients on matters such as legalisation of work and stay in Poland of citizens of third countries, posting of foreigners to work in Poland, and foreign posting of Polish citizens.
She practises individual and collective employment law. Her areas of particular interest include “difficult” terminations of high-level employees and protected employees, discrimination, alternative forms of employment (civil contracts, B2B contracts), remote work, cross-border work, and civil law areas related to employment (e.g. liability in damages of parties to employment relationships, protection of personal interests of employers and employees, and competing activity).
She represents clients in proceedings before administrative bodies and courts involving the legality of work and stay in Poland by citizens of third countries, and in employment litigation (including claims over termination of employment, mobbing and discrimination, work accidents and occupational diseases), and also in disputes with the State Labour Inspectorate.
