Luz María has served as President of the Tax Committee of the National Society of Mining, Oil and Energy. She also has been President of the International Fiscal Association, peruvian group and Chairman of the Board of Directors of IFA Latin America.

She is professor of Income Tax and Accounting Law at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
