Luciano Timm has been a corporate lawyer since 1994, focusing his professional practice both in the South of Brazil and in São Paulo, built on experiences as in-house counsel, in court, as well as in top law firms in the country. Apart from having a solid national and international academic background, his practice centers in the strategy of complex cases, as well as in the commercial and economic impacts of the operations he assists in, bringing elements of his academic experience in law and economics to the legal profession. He is currently the head of CMT’s dispute resolution department, which includes negotiations, mediations, arbitrations and litigation. It this field, he is strategically involved in oral arguments, drafting of documents and legal opinions, and in the national leadership of the firm’s litigation team. Agribusiness, paper and cellulose, machinery and equipment, food and beverage, civil liability, real estate, and civil construction are some of the sectors where his works stands out.
