Lisa has successfully litigated matters before state and federal courts in New Jersey and New York, as well as before the American Arbitration Association, with a focus on construction disputes. Her experience spans both commercial and construction litigation, representing plaintiffs and defendants in a broad range of complex matters. She served as co-lead counsel in a three-year arbitration on behalf of a major university involving extensive design and construction defects, which resulted in a multimillion-dollar award in the client’s favor and the invalidation of a limitation of liability clause.
In addition to her litigation practice, Lisa has substantial experience drafting and negotiating construction contracts, including leading negotiations on agreements with values in excess of nine figures. She has advised owners, contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals on projects involving academic institutions, medical facilities, public schools, laboratory facilities, office buildings, energy infrastructure, public-private partnerships, and building additions of varying scale. She is also a member of the American Arbitration Association’s panel of construction mediators and arbitrators and is listed on the New Jersey Superior Court Roster of Mediators. Lisa also serves as lead construction counsel for a prominent healthcare system in the tri-state area.
