Laurie Jessome

Provides advice to, and advocates on behalf of, employers on all aspects of the employment relationship, including drafting employment agreements, drafting, and enforcing restrictive covenants, discipline and dismissal issues, employment standards, and human rights complaints. Also has extensive expertise in workplace investigations. Has represented clients in provincial and federal human rights matters, the Superior Court of Ontario, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Employment Standards Branch of the Ontario Ministry of Labour, and mediations and grievance arbitrations. Past Chair of the firm’s national Advocacy Group. Chair of the Cassels Employment & Labour Group. Member of the firm's Executive Commitee.
