Practice Areas
Laurie supports a wide variety of private equity firms, pension plans and strategic investors in domestic and international investments (direct and co-investments), mergers and acquisitions and divestiture transactions. She advises clients regarding both private and public company targets in various industries, including regularly acting for one or more clients in consortium or partnership M&A transactions.
Laurie also frequently assists clients engaged in shareholder arrangements and joint ventures, as well as bankruptcy-related asset sales and corporate reorganizations. She has also advised clients on a broad range of corporate, securities, governance and Canadian pension fund regulatory matters.
With a dual call in Ontario and New York and previous experience at a prominent New York law firm and Paris law firm, Laurie has extensive experience in international and cross-border transactions.
