Laurent Legein’s practice includes mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and equity capital markets transactions.

Career

Laurent joined the firm as a partner in late 2006. Prior to joining Cleary Gottlieb he spent 12 years in another major international law firm.

He holds the following degrees: LL.M. (Fulbright scholar) from Georgetown University (1994), LL.M. (speciale licentie in het economisch recht, cum laude) from Universiteit Gent (1993), and Licence en Droit and B.A., Philosophy, magna cum laude -from Université Catholique de Louvain (1992).

Laurent is a member of the Brussels Bar.
